 Faith Formation

​A weekly program offered for children from the parish in first through fifth grade who attend public school. Classes are held on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This program systematically explores Christian attitudes and basic doctrine. Parents are encouraged to become involved in the religious education of their children by reading and studying together the religion books brought home. 

 Religious Formation Program

​The following list includes varying ways parishioners can be involved in the religious formation programs of St. Edward Parish:
  • Student 
  • Teacher 
  • Substitute Teacher
  • Children’s Liturgy of the Word (Children in who participate at the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays)
  • Vacation Bible School Student Crew Leader
  • Vacation Bible School Aide
  • Classroom Aide

 Youth Ministry Program

The youth ministry program of St. Edward Parish is open to all students in sixth through twelfth grades (Catholic and public school). This ministry program encourages the overall personal and spiritual growth of each person and brings young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community. 

Students gather once a month (October - May) to participate in the Sunday 9:00 a.m., Mass. Following Mass, students gather in Edwardian Hall for group discussions on the liturgy, plan service projects, activities, as well as participate in community and parish oriented projects and activities.
